I'm here!!!

Hey guys!!
So yes I am in COS and I am really enjoying it! The trip down was amazing! The Lord gave me so much peace while I was travelling, I definitely did not feel like I was travelling alone! So Praise the Lord for answered prayers and a definite miracle that he worked that day!
It has been pretty crazy since I got here. We had the incredible privilege to go to a Jubilee celebration for YWAM's 50th anniversary. The guest speakers were Lorne and Darlene Cunningham, the founders of YWAM. Before I came down I really wanted to hear them speak, but also knew that the chances of that happening were slim to non, but God is so amazing and I got to hear them speak so much. It was an amazing way to start YWAM, just a sweet chance to get re-focused and to get so amped ( I don't think I have ever used that word before) for what God is going to do. I realized that I was all excited for God to use other people to do amazing things but never really had the faith that he would use me. This is something that I know I need to work on. I need to have the faith that the Lord will work through me and I need to be obedient and do it.
I also realized that I have been in this mind set of always needing to surrender everything, but I have realized that I need to just be obedient and see what he asks me to do. I am not too sure why but thinking of my life as someone who is obedient rather than always sacrificing seems to make more sense of this relationship that I have. I am not too sure if that makes sense.
So yes, my time here is going well, it seems like I have been here for so long. I am slowly making friends and really enjoying getting to know some of the girls on a deeper level!
